This privacy policy explains how the personal data that you provide in connection with your registration for DDAC 2023 is processed.

2 USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your personal information is used for the following purposes:

a) When registering for DDAC
Your personal information is used to contact you for further information about the event, that you have registered for both before and after the event. We also use certain personal data for marketing other events that we believe will be of interest to you (see section b). Your information is submitted in an SSL-secured form built in WordPress. CenSec’s webmasters as well as our web supporters Advicer have access to information provided on the website and subsequently stored in the CRM system Podio, to which the entire CenSec secretariat as well as our CRM advisors Workways has access.
i. Which information is used: General personal data – name, company, title, email address and telephone number.
ii. Processing basis: Consent.
iii. Deletion deadline: CenSec keeps your information at a minimum of five years following the documentation requirements found in the individual projects to which our events belong.
CenSec also shares this information (name and company) with the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science as well as with the other DDAC event partners Danish Industry Defence and Security Industries Association.
b. Marketing: Your data is used for marketing purposes, including targeting our communication with you based on your areas of interest and focus as well as sending you relevant marketing in the form of invitations to our other events. You can opt-out of this communication at any time.

iii. Deletion deadline: 1 year after the last contact
c. Optimizing the user experience on the website: We use cookies on censec.dk for the following purposes: ◦Technical functionality, so that we can remember your preferences and make the user experience better. Videos and maps will not work if cookies are not selected.
◦ We cannot identify the individual user based on these cookies.

iii. Deletion period: 12 months from collection.
3 RECORDING OF PHOTOS
•For documentation and marketing purposes, we may choose to record photos and/or videos at our events. These are used on the website and social media for branding and promotion of CenSec.
You can at any time ask us to delete or blur an image in which you appear.
4 MANDATORY INFORMATION
The information we collect for personal data processing will in some cases be mandatory. In connection with the implementation of the specific personal data processing, we will inform you about which information is mandatory. If we do not receive the mandatory information, we cannot deliver the requested treatment or service.
5 YOUR RIGHTS
You have the following rights:
• You have the right to request access, correction or deletion of your data.
• You also have the right to object to the processing of your data and to have the processing of your data restricted.
• In particular, you have an unconditional right to object to the processing of your data for use in direct marketing.
• If the processing of your data is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. Your revocation will not affect the legality of the processing carried out before you revoked your consent.
